Launched in 2023, Contemporania is Spain’s first international fair exclusively devoted to contemporary craftsmanship. With its growing reputation, the biennial event has become a distinguished platform, attracting designers, collectors, and institutions from around the world. The last edition welcomed over 4,000 visitors, showcasing the works of 130+ exhibitors from diverse artistic disciplines, including ceramics, jewelry, metal, textile, glass, paper, and wood.
Who Can Apply?
The open call welcomes applications from:
- Individual artists
- Associations & institutions
- Collectives
- Galleries
- Fine craft brands
How to Participate
Each applicant must submit a professional portfolio, including:
- High-quality images of their work
- Creative process insights
- Details of materials used
- Professional and artistic concept statement
- CV
All applications will be reviewed by an esteemed Cultural Council composed of leading experts from the craftsmanship industry, ensuring the highest standards of artistic selection.
Exhibition & Fees
Participants can select from two exhibition formats:
- Small Stand
- Big Stand
Additionally, a €75 non-refundable registration fee applies. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2025.
